Actually it does

2020-10-28 17:59:02 UTC

It says clearly in Romans that you shouldn’t criticize that person based on interpretation

2020-10-28 17:59:19 UTC

I’ll go fetch the verse

2020-10-28 17:59:33 UTC

@Eagle thx for your help

2020-10-28 18:00:08 UTC

im not saying I dont accept them

2020-10-28 18:00:24 UTC

Im saying both of our interpretations are open to criticism I’m sure Chaz is a nice guy and we probably agree on other things but neither of our interpretations should be shielded from good criticism

2020-10-28 18:00:51 UTC

Please understand that is never something I try to do intentionally. i can understand why you think I am not accepting them ofc but that is not where my moral compas stands.

2020-10-28 18:01:48 UTC

@(っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ Hug god ♥ I’d still be happy to talk with you later if you want to

2020-10-28 18:02:35 UTC

**“Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong.** For instance, one person believes it’s all right to eat anything. But another believer with a sensitive conscience will eat only vegetables. Those who feel free to eat anything must not look down on those who don’t. And those who don’t eat certain foods must not condemn those who do, for God has accepted them. Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge whether they stand or fall. And with the Lord’s help, they will stand and receive his approval.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭14:1-4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

2020-10-28 18:02:59 UTC

This stands against criticism based on differences in interpretation

2020-10-28 18:03:50 UTC

@Eagle very well put

2020-10-28 18:03:56 UTC

I didn’t put it

2020-10-28 18:04:08 UTC

I just copied it from the followers of Christ

2020-10-28 18:04:12 UTC

no, everything you have said, in general

2020-10-28 18:04:23 UTC

I gotcha

2020-10-28 18:04:58 UTC

Eagle. I understand where you are coming from. but it still does not deter what I said about Chaz refuting every bit of evidence we give him on any topic we have discussed with him

2020-10-28 18:05:16 UTC

@Osha19 Why aren’t you loving him

2020-10-28 18:05:28 UTC

@CoolGuard sure but im gonna be busy im having a day out eith my mother

2020-10-28 18:06:24 UTC

oh boy what now

2020-10-28 18:06:34 UTC

@(っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ Hug god ♥ That’s fine, tomorrow or so probably will be better anyway, since I’m about to be hit by a category 2 hurricane

2020-10-28 18:06:48 UTC

I’ll agree to disagree with chaz

2020-10-28 18:06:56 UTC

Eagle. I do not have the patience of Jesus. I am merely a man. and Me saying the truth does not mean I refuse to show him the love of Jesus Christ.

2020-10-28 18:07:08 UTC

Epic

2020-10-28 18:07:09 UTC

If I may say. In the Bible it mentions that even a babe can understand the Word of God. God is the Word of God. The Bible has depth in every verse but each verse can be understood without contemplation. The layers are as infinite as the Word is since it is the Word.

2020-10-28 18:07:43 UTC

Does no one remember the curse put in the bible?

2020-10-28 18:07:48 UTC
2020-10-28 18:07:52 UTC

The Old Testament?

2020-10-28 18:08:06 UTC

"If anyone shall add or take away from this holy book; they shall forever be cursed to eternal damnation"

2020-10-28 18:08:25 UTC

@Catholics

2020-10-28 18:08:28 UTC

There is a curse weaved into the pages of the bible.

2020-10-28 18:08:46 UTC

@Osha19 it doesn’t matter if he refuted it. If you read the verse, it instructs very clearly not to criticize him. So let’s be clear here. Let’s just keep our positions to ourselves. It’s not your place.

2020-10-28 18:09:00 UTC

And it’s not mine either

2020-10-28 18:09:16 UTC

So is Eagle arguing that it's Christian *not* to defend the authority of the Bible and call out misinterpretation?

2020-10-28 18:09:18 UTC

self-interpretation is ok to a point. But saying something that goes completely against what the word says is adding AND taking away from the word.

2020-10-28 18:09:19 UTC

🤔

2020-10-28 18:10:02 UTC

@Osha19 now you can correct me if I’m wrong but he just had a difference in interpretation, he did not add nor take away parts of the Bible

2020-10-28 18:10:35 UTC

@corny🌽🌽 im citing a verse that talks interpretation of faith

2020-10-28 18:10:40 UTC

he said homosexuality is not a sin. The bible states that it is. That is adding and taking away from the holy book.

2020-10-28 18:10:57 UTC

Hm. True

2020-10-28 18:10:58 UTC

@corny🌽🌽 it explains not to criticize based on differences in faith
