Focus on myself? I also am a preacher. How am I suppose to obey God in Him telling me to preach the word of God? The word of God has many negative things to say about our behavior as sinful people. I'm pointing people to what God says and telling them they need to get right with God or there will be consequences from Him.

Well, hey, maybe God orchaestrated this to show you there are Christians with backbone out there who will uncompromisingly preach God's word and hold out the standard of righteousness from it, but also the mercy and grace God gives if you but humbly come to Him for it.
