Yes

2020-12-14 14:06:28 UTC

And then of course believing in it I felt drawn in a way but none of that is what you want to hear lol

2020-12-14 14:06:52 UTC

Were you brought up as one?

2020-12-14 14:08:39 UTC

Yes but I went to a very sack-religious school all my life and constantly questioned what it is that I was brought up with. Then. I finally come to these conclusions, and fully accepted it all. And if you’re curious, there’s tons of people who weren’t brought up that way who have become believers

2020-12-14 14:09:07 UTC

Oh yes I know.

2020-12-14 14:09:19 UTC

Like John Doyle. 😆

2020-12-14 14:09:24 UTC

Lol

2020-12-14 14:10:07 UTC

Ok, so. Did God write the Bible?

2020-12-14 14:10:15 UTC

Or followers of him?

2020-12-14 14:11:34 UTC

In a way. It’s terribly difficult to explain. Well not really but I do poorly trying to. Read this, it’s not too long. https://www.gotquestions.org/who-wrote-the-Bible.html

2020-12-14 14:12:11 UTC

Basically he used people to write it down

2020-12-14 14:14:02 UTC

Welp, that makes more sense than a book falling from the skies like Mjölnir.

2020-12-14 14:14:40 UTC

Lol I know right

2020-12-14 14:15:50 UTC

So that explains inconsistencies and mistakes I guess.
If God just "inspires" people, and humans are flawed, not all of them will be as bright with their expression.

2020-12-14 14:16:05 UTC

Plus they were more than one.

2020-12-14 14:17:53 UTC

Yes for the most part. Now I’m not sure what inconsistencies you’re referring to, there are certainly some but none gospel changing

2020-12-14 14:18:55 UTC

Ok, but now here's some problems.
Evolutionary psychology can't coexist with the myth of Adan and Eve.

2020-12-14 14:19:13 UTC

And we use ev. psych. all the time.

2020-12-14 14:19:29 UTC

Great observation lol I’m glad at least you notice that. Because geez there’s a ton of evolutionist Christians

2020-12-14 14:19:43 UTC

And they are lost

2020-12-14 14:19:56 UTC

Wait...

2020-12-14 14:20:34 UTC

Are you telling me that to be a Christian you can't agree with evolution?

2020-12-14 14:20:49 UTC

Because then John Doyle isn't a Christian

2020-12-14 14:20:53 UTC

Or Steven Crowder

2020-12-14 14:20:58 UTC

or Jordan Peterson.

2020-12-14 14:21:08 UTC

No not exactly

2020-12-14 14:21:10 UTC

*Though Idk if he was one honestly*

2020-12-14 14:21:32 UTC

I know some great pastor friends that believe in like the old earth stuff and all that

2020-12-14 14:21:57 UTC

Old Earth as in?

2020-12-14 14:22:33 UTC

Billions of years, we only recently have come into play, we may have evolved, etc. All that jazz

2020-12-14 14:22:47 UTC

Ok, that's Old Earth

2020-12-14 14:22:48 UTC

Earth is 6000 years old and billions of years because time is relative gentlemen

2020-12-14 14:23:08 UTC

And that implies you don't?

2020-12-14 14:23:17 UTC

I’m a young earth creationist @Cothelas Decaeneus I know

2020-12-14 14:23:32 UTC

To God's perspective with the time measurement of the beginning of the universe it is 6000 years old simple as that and to our perspective, millions.

2020-12-14 14:24:00 UTC

Yes I don’t

2020-12-14 14:24:17 UTC

It’s simply not biblical

2020-12-14 14:24:27 UTC

Macro-evolution cannot be Biblical

2020-12-14 14:24:35 UTC

Agreed

2020-12-14 14:25:00 UTC

Ok, because anything beyond the universe or that can't be proven or observed is a belief. But you don't believe in evolution, since it's observable.

We'll have to respectfully disagree there.

2020-12-14 14:25:08 UTC

God **created** man he did not evolve them from a monkey.
