So He had to prove Himself, because people didn’t believe in Him being the Messiah. In order to prove Himself, he did supernatural things.

2021-01-02 19:19:59 UTC

No, like I said, supernatural was the most important part. Morals is an important part, but it's bigger, higher, greater than just that.

2021-01-02 19:20:09 UTC

You can make up the morals, you can't make up the supernatural.

2021-01-02 19:20:11 UTC

Only the Messiah could have turned bread into wine or walked on water.

2021-01-02 19:20:22 UTC

I alredy told you, discussing why I find the bible useful even though I am an atheist

2021-01-02 19:21:31 UTC

Well, it's disrespectful using it without trying to exercise a smidgen of faith in it. You say it would be disrespectful to try to believe because of believers, I as a believer say it's disrespectful to only use the morals and disbelieve the rest.

2021-01-02 19:21:31 UTC

Like you just care about jesus doing some cheap tricks or him bringing you enlightement? Do you think that jesus would spend time spitting facts if all he had to do is show some magic

2021-01-02 19:21:39 UTC

Exactly! Why? Because Jesus was the Messiah himself, and if he was the Messiah, then He could do things that no human could do. He did the miracles to prove everyone He is the Messiah prophets had been predicting.

2021-01-02 19:21:59 UTC

It's not magic--it's miraculous. It's about God's power accomplishing the supernatural.

2021-01-02 19:22:08 UTC

Exactly, Danny is correct.

2021-01-02 19:22:14 UTC

The most necessary supernatural part is victory over death, friend.

2021-01-02 19:22:28 UTC

That's the most important part about the Bible and Christianity.

2021-01-02 19:22:33 UTC

If you change what I said with "miracles " instead of magic my argument remains

2021-01-02 19:22:52 UTC

Too bad people celebrate Easter for eggs and not for the fact Jesus revived himself after 3 days of death.

2021-01-02 19:23:04 UTC

I do not care for my death ,it simply doesn't bother me

2021-01-02 19:23:11 UTC

Why are you on here again??

2021-01-02 19:23:12 UTC

I do not care if I burn in hell

2021-01-02 19:23:21 UTC

You will when it happens!!!

2021-01-02 19:23:26 UTC

Your nihilism will ruin your life. Trust me.

2021-01-02 19:23:37 UTC

To explain what I appreciate about the bible even though I am atheist

2021-01-02 19:23:54 UTC

Okay, that task is done...

2021-01-02 19:24:15 UTC

If you stay on here, I'll take it as you are searching for answers that the Bible can answer

2021-01-02 19:24:22 UTC

Nihilism is when you care about nothing, I care about my life , I dont waith for death to come to recive a prise or for it to release me or whatever ,I live therefore I am

2021-01-02 19:24:33 UTC

But if you remain resistant then you can't be helped

2021-01-02 19:24:49 UTC

Atheists are usually close minded.

2021-01-02 19:25:11 UTC

“Atheism is a crutch for those who cannot bear the reality of God.”

2021-01-02 19:25:45 UTC

“If there be a God and one has never sought Him, it will be small consolation to remember that one could not get proof of His existence.”

2021-01-02 19:25:49 UTC

Please tell me this , if I live a nice life and one person who actually belives in God and kills me because I dont belive in God, wich of us goes to hell ?

2021-01-02 19:26:15 UTC

Both. Christianity is not as extreme as Islam is.

2021-01-02 19:26:28 UTC

Islam would’ve rewarded the killer if he killed you for not believing in Allah.

2021-01-02 19:26:32 UTC

Both--you would go to Hell because you reject God and His gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. The condition to getting into Heaven is not 'living a good life' according to your opinion.

2021-01-02 19:26:48 UTC

Reaching Heaven is believing in Jesus Christ.

2021-01-02 19:27:20 UTC

@LuckyPuffy actually, there is a passage in the quran that states if you kill a man for not beliving in Allah, muhammid will personally send you to their version of hell

2021-01-02 19:27:29 UTC

What??? Wow!!!

2021-01-02 19:27:39 UTC

Depends of branch of islamism, there are some that wouldn't praise the killer , and some Christians that belived killed the unbeliever was right, just look at the crusades

2021-01-02 19:27:45 UTC

Muhammad is based.

2021-01-02 19:27:47 UTC

just like the crusades, the best words may be twisted in the worst ways

2021-01-02 19:27:56 UTC

I very much agree...

2021-01-02 19:28:04 UTC

The Crusades don't represent Bible belief.

2021-01-02 19:28:08 UTC

Didn’t Hitler think God was on his side?

2021-01-02 19:28:10 UTC

Ok , that is all I had to say, thanks for this discussion ❤️
