@SnowWhite❄ You shouldn't joke about MREs... When I was on the Peace Corps we LOVED those. We would beg visiting green berets for them. For us, they might as well have been ambrosia.

I have eaten MRE's before and like to take them when I go on long hiking trips... but I am also just getting over a near deadly case of food poisoning, and not exactly willing to go through another one

Yeah, more fun to try exotic MREs from other lands... You can buy all sorts of weird ones online.

Do you ever do sweet potatoes wrapped in tin foil when you hike? I swear cooking them on a campfire is better than cooking them at home.

well last time I went on a hike it was a 2 week endeavor with my fiance we basically camped out the whole time 🙂

so it was a lot of foraging, fishing, and such rather than bringing a ton of food 🙂 we did have about 5 days worth of MRE's

They're so expensive tho. .

Some MREs aren't even worth it

Stuffed pumpkins. Rice, ground beef, and cream of mushroom. Spices include brown sugar, salt, worchestershire sauce, and mushroom ketchup with some mushrooms from the sauce etc.

cereal= milk+ cereal + bowl+ spoon

I made cranberry applesauce muffins too but our damn oven runs hot and they burnt even tough I set it 25 degrees low and checked them 5 min before the minimum time on the recipe 😢
