Nice
GT3 startup
The new electric SUV Ford Mustang is a bigger disgrace to cars than an LS swapped RX-7.
LS swapped RX-7 is only acceptable if the rotary engine is damaged to an extent where it is unreasonable to repair
I can understand that.
But is seems like a lot of car companies now are just dragging their legacy through the mud...
Yeah
Cough cough new Supra
The Chevy Impala went from full born dragster to full boring drag sir.
Yep
I wish there were more auto companies paying homage to their history not destroying it.
I also wish there was a way for electric motors to sound cool.
Some how classic toy trains did it.
Most car manufacturers have actually taken to playing engine noises through the speakers of the car. Some even put small speakers outside for the same purpose.
A buzzy low pitch electrical growl with a powerful whine as it got faster.
This is a 1957 toy train and all the sounds you’re hearing are coming from the little 25 volt AC motor.
@slogs I think that if they had put more power behind the GT86, then it would have been more of a Supra than what we currently have.
Yeah
Imagine if electric cars sounded like this train but more awesome?
Formula E cars sound great, but they're also going much faster than highway speeds.
Looks cool, but I think if you want to talk trains we should go to arts and crafts or photography.
yeah, shame there's no place they properly fit in on here
The only reason I mentioned toy trains here because I think the old ones from the 1930’s and 50’s have a really cool electric motor sound that might be awesome if electric cars had a similar engine noise.
Of course my picture doesn't show but it actually has the diesel sounds etc. But still goes back to what I said that there isn't really a place on the server where we won't be basically spamming something that is barely on topic.
Yeah... I posted my newest train set in the arts and crafts section if you want to take a look.
I'm looking at a Audi RS 4, Insurance company says you can't have a new car with all the safety features. Have to get something older and for me it has to be powerful.
Hmm...
You say it needs to be powerful, what other qualities are you looking for in a car? Where are you and what environment will you be driving it in? @TheWhooo
I’m in California so finding cars here will be a lot different than cars you might find in your area.
Oh wow... this is rare.
This is an extremely rare 1983 Dodge Mirada.
It it’s in my home town and only $3500.
This is a weird little guy...
A 1989 Subaru GL Turbo 4WD.
It only has 131 HP, but it gets over 25 MPG.
No safety features other than the automatic seatbelts.
It’s $3900 and has 145,000 miles on the clock.
Wow, get a load of this engine.
the new supra may not be related to the a80 supra but its still underrated and fast
Say, this is a nice lookin’ truck.
