I called a mechanic earlier today to see if he can take a look at my brakes for me because they are having trouble.

I asked if I can bring in my car for him to look at my drum brakes

“What are drum brakes?”

So obviously I figured I should not let this guy put a finger on my car at all. Is that too harsh?

Probably, yeah. Drum brakes isn't always what they're called - I know people who call them shoe brakes. He may not be familiar with the term, or know some other name for them

Context: i discovered a straight piped mustang covered in stickers and rattle can paint

some cars sound good with a straight pipe, but usually not. I saw a dodge durango that some kid straight piped. He also cut the pipe so short that it ended halfway to the rear of the car. xD It was funny cause' he would put it in gear 1 and floor it everyday when he was leaving school, and it sounded like the car was eating itself. xD

Here's my personal list for requirements to be a "true" muscle car
1. Front engine
2. RWD
3. 2 doors, 4 or 5 seats
4. Usable trunk space
5. HORSEPOWER (at least enough for a burnout)
6. Looks cool

Taking a JDM car to a drive thru is always funny. Look on the poor kid's face when they see nobody in the "driver's seat" before realizing you're on the other side

New final drive, LSD, clutch and flywheel, supercharger, catless downpipe, cat-back exhaust, gauges and gauge pods, carbon ECU cover, ethanol sensor, injectors and fuel pump, baffled oil pan, and much more.
