I would still like to keep it but I don't know anything about repairing it and working on it. No one in my family cares about cars and they really don't want me working on it thinking if I try to really do anything under the good I'll blow it up. I really wanted to learn how to work on cars with it but every time even a small problem comes up we take it to the mechanics...

But keep the car and in the future it will pay off probably. If today's cars will be considered antiques 20-30 years later.

Nah... It's just some 80's clunker that used to be an economical luxury sports car... It was mostly reliable, but my parents and especially my younger brother go on about it like it breaks down every month...

Well you could go to work and maybe ask a professional repair guy that works with these types of automobiles
