if only muscle cars were lighter
I had a 1995 530i years ago, really beat up, but a fun car to drive
Well, they wouldn't be very "muscle-y" if they were.
I always like to think that muscle cars are very American, great for high speed on long stretches of straight road (like we have) whereas foreign sports cars are better for handling, since they don't have too many open stretches of straight roads, more curves and twists.
@Alpha-57 we have canyons
True, but we have a lot more open stretches of straight roads. Plus, we're really into drag races.
“This is a corner. This is where the true challenge of a automotive race takes place. Except for American cars. When they see a corner they go into reverse because they simply can’t turn around.”
Now this might seem kinda weird, but I’m trying to design a car. I currently looks like a weird drunken combination of a Studebaker, a Malibu, and a db5...
This is the 1962 Pendragon Fireball...
Lego mock up.
This is the 1964 Pendragon Fireball XL-5...
it's supposed to look like a British muscle car...
it looks like legos to me bud
👀
ford did it first in the 60s
Ya but its still sucky
This is my channel
I hate today's cars, i want a 1959 cadillac
Yeah, the quality really isn't there with a lot of modern cars...
It's not just the American cars that are garbage now, even Japanese car quality is going down the toilet.
I kinda wish people would stop putting American flags on the back of their new Ram trucks, they're made in Chyna.
My old Acura was made in Ohio.
There are really no true American car companies left.
None.
One day every car still driving on the road will be over 30 years old...
True American cars to me are big high horsepower and fast in a strait-line. But for me I like an American car to have a story behind it. If a retired police car can talk I would hear every word of all the pursuits its been in.
Dodge or Ford?
Toyota
Buy American?
Honda built cars in Ohio in the 80’s and 90’s and the cars they made there were American designed and only sold in the US.
My personal favorite was the 1986-89 Honda Accord LXi hatch back.
Tesla ?? Lots of Toyota’s are made in America or Mexico too
Dodge was bought by FIAT.
And Fiat merged with Peugeot...
Except bad things out of them...
I have a relative who is all about American cars and ngl he replaced lots of transmissions. We do buy used cars so that is a factor but still...
Jeep’s are now Fiat Pandas with AWD and a different front end.
The best way to buy American is to buy used.
