thanks Rob, I'm glad you dig it, mate 🙂
I like playing with line weights and sizes
hehe
You do it well dude
Thanks, I'm glad when people dig it
One of the best feelings is when someone likes your art, amiright
sure, it's the reward: I went into the artistic profession to please the public
i don't do it for me really
i do it for the people
A core part of art is for others to enjoy it
well art is meant to be watched/experienced/listened/observed
it's nothing without a public.
Exactly
You can enjoy doing art, but there’s not a lot of point of you’re not sharing it
you can keep folders and folders of your paintings and never show them to anyone: It's still art but nobody will know it ever was.
that's the real tragedy
the stuff we never get to see or experience
Yep
I think we see eye to eye on that matter, Rob 🙂
Oh yes, great to see someone with the same idea
i share others outlook but this is prolly the simplest expression of what it is
I think People nowadays are very quick to criticize any little thing they don’t like, so it creates a negative environment for people to share anything
sure
there's too much stuff
it becomes overwhelming
like a strong perfume
Yeah I feel that
i don't consume art like I used to: i learned to not consume much at all even
i don't like being too inspired
it tends to mess with my originality
Never heard it put that way before, but I definitely see how that works
Makes sense
like losing yourself in too much other people's art can transform your own work
could be positive or negative
but i don't like being too influenced
Yeah, I can tell things of my own art have been inspired by specific things, but I’ve made it still into my own
that's the key
even if you ever do something influenced by someone else: you make it your own
