So what are your guys views on the retirement of the F111?

Like I get why they're doing it it's out dated but I think they should keep in military airshows as it's one if the greatest US aviation advancements ever

But I am glad that they are reallocating the funds to upgrade A10s

@Dr Badass PhD It is pretty cool for airshows cause of the dump n' burn. It's completely useless but hella cool

Some say a bunch of Aardvarks were put in storage just in case we need more planes. (Don't hold me to that) They are still quite capable, but with the F-15E there really isn't any point to maintaining both at the same time.

Also let's face it. Since 90% of all modern air combat is beyond visual range, when do you guys think we'll be seeing cool paint jobs like this?
