yeah i was looking into astronomy but i didnt like the idea of being a professor

2020-11-19 19:45:19 UTC

I want to be able to study stars and look through observatory telescopes but same I don't want to teach

2020-11-19 19:45:58 UTC

do you know of any good school in california for areospace

2020-11-19 19:46:38 UTC

I have no clue. tell me if ya find one lmao

2020-11-19 19:46:59 UTC

I'm in Cali but I plan on moving as soon as I'm out of high school

2020-11-19 19:47:06 UTC

where to?

2020-11-19 19:48:39 UTC

I was looking at Iceland a little bit since it's beautiful and I hear a lot of good about Iceland, but I still love the US and don't want to lose that, but Iceland is looking quite appealing

2020-11-19 19:57:36 UTC

nah i think im staying in cali. too close to family lol

2020-11-19 19:59:05 UTC

Florida

2020-11-19 19:59:08 UTC

yeah same but my whole family is starting to look elsewhere. whether its because of housing costs or political beliefs, a lot of my family isn't staying long

2020-11-19 20:02:23 UTC

do you need to be really creative to be an engineer. thats the only thing im concerned about. im not sure im really creative but i am skilled mathematically

2020-11-19 20:03:07 UTC

Engineers have opportunities everywhere

2020-11-19 20:03:49 UTC

you don't even need to go into engineering, companies like engineers because they're problem solvers

2020-11-19 20:05:54 UTC

math is really important for engineering. engineers design things based on physics if you want to design things. it's not necessarily creativity, it's more designs that are efficient

2020-11-19 20:06:42 UTC

and do the jobs pay well

2020-11-19 20:07:55 UTC

oh engineers? oooooh yeah

2020-11-19 20:08:12 UTC

engineers, depending on the field, make maaad bank

2020-11-19 20:08:19 UTC

I believe

2020-11-19 20:08:55 UTC

and there's always a need for engineers so job security is pretty high

2020-11-19 20:09:07 UTC

and what kind of degree is recommended

2020-11-19 20:09:08 UTC

masters?

2020-11-19 20:09:16 UTC

ppfffft I'm not sure

2020-11-19 20:10:11 UTC

You know, I should've gotten an engineers degree

2020-11-19 20:10:34 UTC

Since I got a lot of weapons ideas and stuff

2020-11-19 20:11:08 UTC

I mean do you design them?

2020-11-19 20:11:14 UTC

Yeah

2020-11-19 20:11:49 UTC

what do you do now?

2020-11-19 20:12:01 UTC

Video games

2020-11-19 20:12:19 UTC

lmao

2020-11-19 20:12:24 UTC

3D modeling

2020-11-19 20:12:29 UTC

you make them?

2020-11-19 20:12:36 UTC

oh shit that's dope

2020-11-19 20:13:17 UTC

I have yet to design them in 3D, but I do have blue prints

2020-11-19 20:15:26 UTC

I'm sure you could find some people to help you with the physics of them and determine how to make it work

2020-11-19 20:16:08 UTC

I mean construction companies need people to brainstorm building designs

2020-11-19 20:17:03 UTC

I'm not well versed in this stuff but I'm sure people like you still do stuff with engineering in some fields

2020-11-19 20:23:53 UTC

I'm not so much for buildings, but I can understand errors in design that can lead to a structure failing to support itself under load

2020-11-19 20:24:40 UTC

yeah like a designer would have a vision but the engineers make sure it works in the physical world too

2020-11-19 20:25:01 UTC

I'm sure it exists in other places and not just in construction of buildings

2020-11-19 20:26:07 UTC

Its mostly simple Geometry (a class I hated in math, but got straight Aces in college somehow)

2020-11-19 20:26:46 UTC

lmao well geometry is good for what it seems you're interested in
