yeah. the reason why it is good to have mltiple orginazations all working on the same thing is because they give eachother insight and different veiws

2020-11-21 04:03:11 UTC

Yes; however, they appear to be gaining proficiency in lunar rover capability but I have not been getting the indication that they are at the stage where they are prepared to establish a lunar base

2020-11-21 04:04:05 UTC

I view chinas capability on space flight rn much like that if their J-20 program, making progress, but still facing huge hurdles (WS-15 in the J-20s case)

2020-11-21 04:04:44 UTC

Indeed, they are fairly reliant on US reasearch as they have demonstrated from the J-20 program

2020-11-21 04:05:00 UTC

Now what’s more likely is a China-Russia lunar program

2020-11-21 04:05:09 UTC

That’s far more dangerous

2020-11-21 04:05:51 UTC

They still lag behind, awaiting US innovation to utilize. They have repeatedly shown how they have struggled with aerospace

2020-11-21 04:06:21 UTC

At least they finally have the ARJ21 in service

2020-11-21 04:09:29 UTC

Exactly, they have repeatedly shown human life has no value other than CCP officials. They are going to end up having a greater bark than their bite. Their lack of technological innovation in aerospace leaves me not overly concerned of a CCP lunar program which is superior to Artemis

2020-11-21 04:15:03 UTC

Unfortunately the US has boxes itself in with reliance on satellites. The space force is now gaining additional capability with the X-37B

2020-11-21 04:15:23 UTC

Yup X-37 is dope

2020-11-21 04:15:44 UTC

As long as innovation stays at its current rate, the space force should attain a satisfactory level of deterrence for any Chinese action

2020-11-21 04:19:12 UTC

Keep in mind the anti satellite capability demonstrated by the F-15A with the AM-135 in 1984. The US does need to ramp up its anti satellite capability but there is going to be a level of confidentiality in which I doubt the public will be aware for potentially a decade after new programs are implemented. I am going to snooze now but nice chatting

2020-11-21 04:19:46 UTC

I thought the AM-135 was experimental

2020-11-21 04:19:53 UTC

They just fired it once

2020-11-21 04:20:00 UTC

Okay gotcha, gn

2020-11-21 04:22:30 UTC

i think people need to realize that the chinese arent as peaceful as they want us to think

2020-11-21 04:22:44 UTC

For sure

2020-11-21 04:22:50 UTC

Definatley

2020-11-21 04:23:35 UTC

Idk man they're scary

2020-11-21 04:23:40 UTC

like no offence to the everyday chinese citizen but

2020-11-21 04:23:52 UTC

yeah they are their government is

2020-11-21 04:24:20 UTC

The AM-135 could easily be replaced by a ramjet powered weapon

2020-11-21 04:24:48 UTC

It'll cost a pretty penny though

2020-11-21 04:32:27 UTC

yeah. they dont know how to think for theirselves, they are used to being told what to do or as you said,, "dissapearing"

2020-11-21 04:44:26 UTC

China is EXCELLENT at taking everyone's technology replicating it and mass producing it. And it's usually far worse than the thing they're knocking off.

2020-11-21 04:46:06 UTC

Eh hem more like barely executes basic function of what they're knocking off of

2020-11-21 04:48:26 UTC

yes so true

2020-11-21 04:48:48 UTC

we used to joke that everything, like EVERYTHING, there was made of plastic

2020-11-21 04:56:10 UTC

Seems legit

2020-11-21 05:00:30 UTC

wasnt there an indian military exercise this week

2020-11-21 05:00:40 UTC

2020-11-21 05:02:13 UTC

As in the AC-130?

2020-11-21 05:03:19 UTC

aircraft carrier

2020-11-21 05:04:41 UTC

Oh

2020-11-21 05:06:20 UTC

ye

2020-11-21 05:06:24 UTC

was pretty interesting

2020-11-21 05:06:29 UTC

i just learned about it like 10 minutes ago

2020-11-21 05:08:11 UTC

the nimitz

2020-11-21 05:14:56 UTC

I haven't seen the Nimitz but I have seen two of her sister ships

2020-11-21 05:15:17 UTC

The Nimitz is the flagship of the US Navy I think
