It rather is. Being confused on one's biological reality really messes with a person. Feeling foreign in your own skin is not a good thing for one's mental health

it is true that people will feel awkward in their own body but I wouldn't call it negative since it's not something you will think too often

With Gender Dysphoria, it's more of a constant than not

As my dad pointed out, he dysphoria is a disorder no matter what
Either the mind is right and the body is wrong or the body is right and the mind is wrong
There is a disorder, the mind and body do not agree

It sows the seeds of doubt on a deep level

So instead of arguing it's a mental disorder to a lefty just call it a disorder in general
