Trump even used the 99% survival rate during the debate

2020-10-25 23:04:00 UTC

The 3% is the CASE Fatality Rate, the INFECTION Fatality Rate is about the same as the seasonal flu. For CFR it's the amount of people who have tested positive and/or been diagnosed, IFR is the amount infected including those who were not detected

2020-10-25 23:33:03 UTC

So apparently, with me being in college, I now have to get the Flu shot, cus covid

2020-10-25 23:33:32 UTC

And with my job, its is also now required for me to get the Flu shot

2020-10-25 23:33:47 UTC

So if I get sick, the only reason why must be covid

2020-10-25 23:34:52 UTC

Good thing I won't be getting a shot at all

2020-10-25 23:40:17 UTC

Oh I really dont wanna take it

2020-10-25 23:45:56 UTC

I’d say time to find a new college/ job...if it’s worth doing, you will find a way

2020-10-25 23:46:18 UTC

That would both be expensive and difficult

2020-10-25 23:46:31 UTC

And as a college student, definetly not flush with cash

2020-10-25 23:54:18 UTC

frankly if my College is gonna force Covid Vaccinations, imma drop out, because i dont trust whats in the Vaccine

2020-10-25 23:56:27 UTC

dont want Bill Gates sterilization vaccine or religion killin vaccine

2020-10-26 00:09:40 UTC

If it was the covid vaccine that's a straight nope from me

2020-10-26 00:10:30 UTC

> @Knotty You’re assuming everyone infected has taken a covid test. Ex: More than half of my family tested positive with Covid, the remaining, including myself, incurred a fever but did not get ourselves tested. We are all alive today.
@Finch and the 99.9% infected suggests that 100% of the population has been infected

2020-10-26 00:11:12 UTC

or 99.9% survival rate number I should say

2020-10-26 00:11:48 UTC

if we tested 100% of the population for antibodies and the actual covid test I think we would find that MAYBE 30-40% of the population has actually had the virus at all.

2020-10-26 00:12:13 UTC

but until that happens we won't know the true death rate

2020-10-26 00:13:31 UTC

but based off the current confirmed (positive tests) and current deaths (which I took 20% off the top because of the bullshit "covid gun shots") it is around 2.6% of people die from confirmed positive test results.

2020-10-26 00:14:27 UTC

Which is still pretty low

2020-10-26 00:14:51 UTC

Considering they thought this was a world ender

2020-10-26 00:15:23 UTC

okay @Dstar_Destroyer if I gave you a bowl of 100 M&M's and told you that 3 of them are poison would you take 1 of the M&M's if 3 of them will 100% kill you

2020-10-26 00:15:39 UTC

not 1 single person that was sane said it was a world ender

2020-10-26 00:15:56 UTC

they suggested that up to 10% of the world population COULD die, but that won't actually happen

2020-10-26 00:16:00 UTC

Jokes on you, I dont like m&ms but i get your analogy

2020-10-26 00:16:46 UTC

I see it as the virus won't be going away, it may be the next flu, just the ever present virus every year, I refuse to be scared of it every single day of my life

2020-10-26 00:16:51 UTC

I cant live that way

2020-10-26 00:18:00 UTC

the key thing of the deaths is that around 50% of all deaths had 3 of 4 pre-existing conditions: Heart Issues, Breathing issues (Asthma or Allergies), diabetes, or Cancer. While an addition 25% or so had 2/3 and 10% or so had 1/3. I think only 10% had 4/4 and 5% had zero pre-existing conditions

2020-10-26 00:19:04 UTC

so if you are 80, and have no pre-existing conditions you are just as safe as someone who is 40 and zero pre existing conditions. The issue is most 80 year olds have at least 1 or all of the pre-existing conditions 🙂

2020-10-26 00:20:28 UTC

That goes along with how poorly handled this pandemic has been handled, once that was known, they shouldve lifted all the lockdowns, if the majority of people would be fine, while the ones who are immunno compromised would be the ones highly reccomended to take care of themselves. Maybe its my selfish side but I dont want a minority of people deciding how I live my life

2020-10-26 00:20:38 UTC

I will debate that the left is just spewing bad info, and the right is doing the same. I hate both parties, and when Trump said "we have a 99.8% survival rate" I was actually pissed off by that and called his ass out on it.

2020-10-26 00:20:56 UTC

And I get that too

2020-10-26 00:21:13 UTC

Its become political, which is the worst thing to have happened to it

2020-10-26 00:22:33 UTC

Now I will say the left spews just as much bullshit as the right on both accounts. The left is making the USA's handling of it look piss poor, when we are on the very extreme end of how seriously we are handling it in the RED states with no protests. The right on the other hand wants all restrictions lifted, but I would say mask up if you need to and have everyone else that doesn't wish to just stay 10 feet away from those that have masks.

2020-10-26 00:23:03 UTC

Hell in Montana here I have had Karens bitch for having to wear a mask on the mountain, and I have said "this is BS" but I never caused a scene.

2020-10-26 00:23:30 UTC

In fine with the social distancing, thing even if that degrades social, interactions. The mask stuff however seems ineffective when worn by the general populace

2020-10-26 00:24:12 UTC

Since you have to wash the mask every 2 hours and not touch it

2020-10-26 00:24:17 UTC

Dstar you have to remember an individual CAN be intelligent, but a group of people are 100% always dumber than a dull rock.

2020-10-26 00:24:33 UTC

Yes, a person, is smart, while people are dumb

2020-10-26 00:24:40 UTC

no a person CAN be smart

2020-10-26 00:24:45 UTC

not all persons are smart

2020-10-26 00:24:52 UTC

trust me I deal with a lot of retards daily
