i would prefer to bug in, and harden up but if the need arises tomorrow i would be better off bugging out but that's my own personal situation tbh it all comes down to what could happen

but make no mistake, even if i do end up bugging out i will still "help" those who i think are in the right from the backround

The problem is there's not many places that you can go and be safe

but that all depends on the situation

If we're talking most of the situations where you'd need to make a choice it would probably be better to bug in

they are, except a financial, civil war and its better to bug in during a nuclear strike but only for so long, after about a month you want to leave if you can do so safely and head to south America if you can

Why though

the isotopes in the soil would make growing crops hard

and keep in mind you would have to remove close to a foot of all top soil and entomb it to properly decontaminate it

Leaving means leaving behind and resources you had beforehand. Even in a nuclear disaster you'd still be leaving behind everything

unless you build physical assets like gold and silver

then if you bug out you have some measure of protection but not a lot

i got friends down in Mexico but that's a different situation

It's possible and beneficial in some situations but I'd really work on joining a prepper community

I’ve heard some horror stories when females get involved

there are communities, but like i said most i know of are the "lets march to Washington when the lights go out" kind of people

If you are alone you're going to die pretty much instantly in any kind of major collapse

eh... too many of the "if you were ever a cop then I'll kill you" in those groups and chances are the cops will be the ones with the most power to start with
