Multiple helicopters can reach Everest’s peak but most can’t. But you are correct that a helicopter would not be able to fly on Mars because the atmosphere is too thin, it’s essentially nonexistent.

I got silenced from a youtube space stream because I said "NASA lies" and despite the fact the topic was about global warming they decided it was fitting to mute me completely because you're not allowed to talk about flat earth in that channel. Even though we weren't talking about flat earth.... talking about.... global warming.... so basically just saying "NASA lies" is like super offensive to some people.
