its never ANTIFA without BLM.

2020-10-26 23:20:21 UTC

There is violence of all forms in protests and riots. Verbal and physical being the prominent ones.

2020-10-26 23:22:51 UTC

What good is a group or idea, if the backing of said idea/organization... is to act like this. I for one would never want to be associated with BLM or ANTIFA, even if I was a liberal minded person (please note I have a more centrist POV). The actions from everyone has disgusted me. The deaths of innocent people disgusts me. The abuse our Officers recieve, the abuse innocent bystanders recieve, the abuse of other black people i see. No this idea/organization is not something good or just. It is an evil token of sin (or whatever you want to call it that means its bad) is not something that should be supported.

2020-10-26 23:24:55 UTC

If you want to fight for equality. Fight for it. But do not, and I repeat, DO NOT threaten, abuse, harm other people because they don't agree, because they are a different color (e.g white in the case of BLM and ANTIFA), lie about what they are fighting for to get away with heinous acts of malevolence.

2020-10-26 23:26:03 UTC

that is my thoughts on BLM and ANTIFA. I believe it to be both an organization and an idea. the basic idea shouldnt be ended, but the idea it is now and the organization should both be put out of their misery

2020-10-26 23:26:26 UTC

basic idea = equality for all colors, etc., etc.

2020-10-26 23:26:51 UTC

@chaz please ping me with your response. as I will be doing dishes and getting school work done so I wont be checking discord frequently

@Osha19 George Floyd's only perpetrator was himself. He died of drug overdose that he caused by gulping down all he had before he was arrested. That's why none of the cops involved were convicted for murder. That's also why on the autospy report it said he died of a condition that people who drug overdose go into during those situations. (I forgot the name, but I'm sure you could figure it out if you researched it). The only reason this story was different from the others was because he was a black man, a white cop was on his neck, and he was saying he couldn't breathe. At first I thought it was what some still believe to be the case still, murder, which it wasn't and never will be, but when the full story, (body cam, autospy report, police report of the day, etc.) came out, you get all the information, you get the conclusion that the judge of the case did as well.

2020-10-26 23:43:07 UTC

Their biggest example is BS. When you see half the story, you don't understand it as the media always wants you to see it.

2020-10-26 23:56:01 UTC

I did know about that. but for the sake of my argument I say it should have stopped at the police officers arrest @little hollow . Not their court ruling but just their arrest. I knew full well it was not the officers fault..

2020-10-26 23:56:15 UTC

Ok

2020-10-26 23:56:39 UTC

Just checking lol

2020-10-26 23:56:40 UTC

"George Floyd killed himself. Derek Chauvin framed himself." is one way someone said it.

2020-10-26 23:56:52 UTC

mmmm

2020-10-26 23:57:14 UTC

That's an interesting way to put it.

2020-10-27 00:12:16 UTC

@little hollow in the first it wasn't what "the media was hiding" the autopsy and drug footage came out later, its not always a consiracy.

2020-10-27 00:13:08 UTC

Wait which part would be the conspiracy in this situtaion?

2020-10-27 00:14:34 UTC

What I meant was that the media showed the footage and didn't tell people to wait for context. That's what I meant, sorry for the misunderstanding.

2020-10-27 00:14:58 UTC

Because it looks really bad from just that one view

2020-10-27 00:16:36 UTC

Okay, well anyway, going to go eat dinner. Ttyl I guess

2020-10-27 00:18:41 UTC

@Erby @little hollow @Osha19 even if it was not a murder it stood for a much larger problem of the systemic racism in the country. the protest adressed that. A majority of the protests were and are peaceful, however mistakes and disgraces were made on both sides, certian riot police misused crowd dispercement methods and went in a direction wholely unconstitutional; and there were and are certian protester who took advantage of a good movement to commit action that were crimes, these people do not repersent the movement on a whole, i do not think you can assign the title blm to those unorganised rioters. and antifa, I still have not been given proof that they are an organised force or if they even exist at all, but I am open to learn as I do know all.

2020-10-27 00:20:24 UTC

and on the matter of news, no news network is unbiased, and as a moderate I can tell you which are the most ridiculous, one is fox, the other msnbc. my advice is trust neither, the new york times used to be good but now you have to read really acrefully, the only ones I really trust is BBC.

2020-10-27 00:22:23 UTC

You have an opinion on ANTIFA and I hold my own. As a movement for equality. there should be more care with it.

2020-10-27 00:22:30 UTC

There has not been more care.

2020-10-27 00:23:23 UTC

I speak from experience from my time in a 3rd world country that lead to me being mentally scarred. The hatred towards me for being white and american was unbearable a lot of the time.

2020-10-27 00:23:52 UTC

so you can get behind equality

2020-10-27 00:24:00 UTC

You may not believe in reverse racism (I say reverse even though the true definition of racism works for any color against any color) but I do know about it.

2020-10-27 00:25:14 UTC

reverse racism does not exist,

2020-10-27 00:25:17 UTC

racism is racism no matter who you are

2020-10-27 00:25:19 UTC

> so you can get behind equality
@chaz I can and have gotten behind equality. but I have seen how much BS is spread about the police, etc. Systemic racism... I knew so many south africans that came to America for a better chance and got it. Most of them were black. If there was systemic racism, they shouldn't and couldn't have made a life like they did.

2020-10-27 00:25:43 UTC

ok so you believe a black man can be racist to a white man and vice versa?

2020-10-27 00:25:54 UTC

duh

2020-10-27 00:26:22 UTC

good. you aren't one of the incompetent idiots that say I am racist for even suggesting that.... sorry Its a touchy subject for me.

2020-10-27 00:26:38 UTC

its just something to be careful of because certian people who are truely racist have used "well racism works both ways" to scoff off their own racism

2020-10-27 00:27:17 UTC

but the racism towards african americans and muslims is the largest adressable problem at the moment

I am a man of faith. I will never and have never treated another man poorly because of his skin color.

2020-10-27 00:27:40 UTC

I understand that

> but the racism towards african americans and muslims is the largest adressable problem at the moment
@chaz I'd argue Christianity is in there too. Have you seen how much hate we get. Ofc we are warned about this so I guess we had time to prepare.

2020-10-27 00:28:07 UTC

doesn't make it right though
