Interesting

2020-10-14 14:16:57 UTC

Delivery is out of the question right now isn't it?

2020-10-14 14:17:55 UTC

? I think you can get delivery

2020-10-14 14:18:04 UTC

But I'm applying as a cook

2020-10-14 14:20:45 UTC

Oh, I did that once for a summer when I was a kid. Lol, I made a pizza with spaghetti sauce on accident because the 2 sauces were right next to each other. Coincidentally, the pizza was for my uncle, haha!

2020-10-14 14:21:22 UTC

Haha, did he notice?

2020-10-14 14:23:19 UTC

Oh yeah he did, he brought it back in and had me try it, because he wasn't for sure cause he stoned, haha.

2020-10-14 14:24:04 UTC

😂

2020-10-14 14:24:26 UTC

Right? Lol

2020-10-14 14:26:15 UTC

Great first impression of your job skills

2020-10-14 14:28:38 UTC

Yeah, funny cause that was the 1st pizza did that with and I have been working there for about 3 months, it's a wonder I didn't do that at the start.

2020-10-14 14:29:17 UTC

How'd you like working there? And was it a chain?

2020-10-14 14:29:48 UTC

And also, you don't do it for 3 months and then the person you do to it too is your uncle? That's unlucky lol

2020-10-14 14:30:47 UTC

Yeah, was pizza hut. I did enjoy making food, but co-workers and supervisor were less to be desired.

2020-10-14 14:31:30 UTC

Haha, was the 1st one I made for him too!

2020-10-14 14:33:02 UTC

Yeah atm Im working as a busser and I wanna work somewhere else, but I've got it pretty good there. Averaging something like $14/hr and the managers like me but the hours suck and it's super busy so idk

2020-10-14 14:33:45 UTC

I was not exactly popular since I went to school with my co-workers, so I ended up working normal hours as well as when they didn't want to work.

2020-10-14 14:34:03 UTC

Also the managers only like me cause I'm not lazy, which means they just make me work extra hard and let the other bussers get by doing nothing

2020-10-14 14:34:14 UTC

Why would that make you unpopular?

2020-10-14 14:34:20 UTC

You took their hours for them

2020-10-14 14:37:16 UTC

Seemed their thought process was "oh, I don't want to work. I'm going to take advantage of him cause I feel entitled that I should get the weekend off"

2020-10-14 14:38:05 UTC

At my first job I was always stressed out because people we want to do these jobs and I have to do all the hard jobs. The job I switch to I work just as hard but everyone does their part and it flows so much better

2020-10-14 14:38:30 UTC

Working the weekend was punishment for them, and in school I was not one "the cool kids" lol

2020-10-14 14:39:03 UTC

Ha, I see. I misread your first message

2020-10-14 14:39:25 UTC

Doubt I'll get the job anyways so it doesn't matter ig

2020-10-14 14:42:58 UTC

Also, I was Dishwasher/Cook. My normal job was bussing tables and clean dishes, only when they were short handed did I get to cook, until later. I was also dishwasher because no other co-workers would do it, they thought that was a punishment as well.

2020-10-14 14:43:18 UTC

Dishwasher is easy

2020-10-14 14:43:26 UTC

Not sure why people don't like kt

2020-10-14 14:43:27 UTC

It

2020-10-14 14:47:21 UTC

Well, kitchen was rather small, and the washroom was even smaller, so when you have lunch/dinner rush. You had to be really fast or it would pile up on you in about 30 minutes. Which is funny because our dishwasher was an automatic, and you couldn't wait on it so, you were washing by hand as well.

2020-10-14 14:48:01 UTC

Ah yeah where I dishwashed we had a great dishwasher so it was real easy

2020-10-14 14:48:10 UTC

You would get backed up but not too bad

2020-10-14 14:49:57 UTC

I think they were 10 minute cycles? But we had to rewash most of them because the thing didn't do a great job when we were rushed.

2020-10-14 14:50:06 UTC

Wow

2020-10-14 14:50:46 UTC

The dishwasher we had was *maybe* 30 seconds long, but you have to rinse them pretty well. It was more of a sanitizer thing

2020-10-14 14:50:58 UTC

Like get any cheese or whatever off first

2020-10-14 14:52:53 UTC

I had a few times where we were so backed up, the waitress would bring in tubs and carelessly stack them and next thing you know 2-3 tubs full of dishes crashing on the floor, lol.

2020-10-14 14:53:07 UTC

Did they break?

2020-10-14 14:53:58 UTC

No, they were plastic.

2020-10-14 14:55:10 UTC

Ah ok

2020-10-14 14:55:44 UTC

I think later they switched to ceramic because they last longer visually. The plastic ones would crack, or oxidize and didn't look very clean.
