Yeah man... same

2020-12-14 06:06:26 UTC

I can only roll my eyes at my coworker who grumbles in front of customers

2020-12-14 06:06:56 UTC

Lol. What's the point of that?

2020-12-14 06:07:09 UTC

He's in his 60s, like my manager

2020-12-14 06:07:15 UTC

I see

2020-12-14 06:07:25 UTC

Except he's grumpy around people

2020-12-14 06:07:27 UTC

Why doesn't he just retire?

2020-12-14 06:07:41 UTC

He and his wife still work

2020-12-14 06:07:47 UTC

I see...

2020-12-14 06:08:21 UTC

It's one thing to grumble in the back

2020-12-14 06:09:01 UTC

It's another to say "what a bunch of losers, can't you do something else on a fricken Sunday evening" audibly in the front lobby

2020-12-14 06:09:19 UTC

That's pretty crappy

2020-12-14 06:09:39 UTC

He's nice to coworkers, not too friendly to customers

2020-12-14 06:09:56 UTC

If it wasn't for the customers he probably wouldn't have a job

2020-12-14 06:10:06 UTC

Yep

2020-12-14 06:10:19 UTC

I mean are the customers being jerks?

2020-12-14 06:10:25 UTC

Rarely so

2020-12-14 06:10:36 UTC

Yeah... that's just a bad attitude

2020-12-14 06:10:37 UTC

Literally like one person a week

2020-12-14 06:10:44 UTC

Is a bit stuck up

2020-12-14 06:11:16 UTC

Oh well... boss doesn't bring it to his attention... what can you do

2020-12-14 06:12:00 UTC

My boss knows he is tempermental

2020-12-14 06:12:24 UTC

At least my boss is a really nice dude

2020-12-14 06:12:39 UTC

That's cool.

2020-12-14 06:13:37 UTC

My boss is alright... but he let's the first shift foreman walk all over him and always ends up screwing us over on 2nd

2020-12-14 06:14:57 UTC

Damn, what can you do?

2020-12-14 06:15:17 UTC

Nothing... look for another job lol

2020-12-14 06:16:11 UTC

I mean, the attitude of that

2020-12-14 06:16:59 UTC

The whole place is ass backwards.... if they don't do it the hard way they're doing it wrong as one guy there told me

2020-12-14 06:17:27 UTC

Work smarter, not harder <:thinking:726878987837636698>

2020-12-14 06:17:31 UTC

They let all the lazy people be lazy and burnout the hard workers

2020-12-14 06:19:11 UTC

I hear that... I get in my own zone. I already know what I have to do so I clock in and start knocking everything out. Other people won't start working til foreman asks them... like hey can you do this?

2020-12-14 06:19:28 UTC

Ummmm... you been here how long and you don't know your job...

2020-12-14 06:19:48 UTC

Depends on them as a person, asking questions usually seems to be a thing if someone is new or unsure

2020-12-14 06:20:07 UTC

Naw... they all been there longer then I have

2020-12-14 06:20:54 UTC

Only other reason I could think of is if they have been taught to ask first, do later (seek consent from authority first)

2020-12-14 06:21:44 UTC

Maybe.. but from my perspective... they're lazy af

2020-12-14 06:23:24 UTC

Like sometimes I'll go in early and cover a part of a 1st shift guy that either has vacation or called off and they're just straight chilling....

2020-12-14 06:23:49 UTC

I'd rather find out for better if someone is the way they are

2020-12-14 07:56:41 UTC

What's that mean?
