I had to put at least 7 or 8 American teachers in their place after I moved here from Germany during High School alone.

speaking up is one of 2 ways change happens... the other involves a lot of bloodshed and isn't worth it in this case

i'm too scared, i only speak up in the assigments i give and i refute her points in them

she can.... and I had that happen many times... I also brought it to the attention of deans/higherups and 99% of the time the grade was fixed to what it should have been

in high school I had to bring a paper I got a 0 on to the assistant principal, and that was brought to the principal, who brought it to the super intendant... and the teacher was severely reprimanded for it. She was effectively laid-off for 2 weeks with no pay.

the grade on that was fixed to the 98 it should have received plus she was let go a year later for doing the same thing to another student who spoke up

if you do it enough it will start to happen occasionally.... but I had about 50 different teachers during this time 🙂

just remember to debate and articulate your point. the object is to win the debate, and encourage others to speak up about their views 🙂

I had to stop a teacher on an entire rant on how minorities can't be racist....

that was one of 5 big arguments I actually got removed from class for... and later was given the "right" to return.... and I fought for those rights to return to class.

1 teacher was really bad... and would just remove me from class. Eventually it was almost on the verge of suspension because he was marking me absent daily, when I was attending....

The worst essay I ever did in highschool was on "why h*tler wasn't that bad" and I turnd it into the principal and she got fired

I mean Hitler did a lot of really bad things.... 11+ million of them.... but he also got around 60 million people out of a depression for a few years... and after the war Germany was "fixed" for about 60 years... then current leadership got in and screwed everything up

My friend brought up how there were voting irregularities in Pennsylvania history class and the teacher said they were "conspiracy theories ". We then proceeded to post the graphs, data, and memes. She has never said anything to us since.
