But even in my school there aren’t the brightest people, one of my friends told me she would run for President(as a joke for the situation) and I asked her what would her policies be and she just responded “Republican”.

Yeah that’s definitely not the best. Well at least they’re not left leaning. That’s something I guess.

But we did have political debates and it went very well

Actually had good conversation and there was a little bit of disagreement but not much

When I went to the public school near me I just happened to make friends with fellow conservatives. Albeit they aren’t as conservative as me. But that was lucky in a way. Given I’m in DC.

I spoke my opinion on gun control and held my ground which definitely was not easy in front of the whole school

Those people I never understand. Half pro gun folks. Pistols can be just as dangerous as a rifle if not more. They might as well go all the way and say get rid of them both.
