And, when the states succeed, the states that will border them will see an influx of people. Cities will spring up, jobs will be created, and the economies will boom there, replacing what was lost.

That's how we will account for losing such a large percentage of the national GDP.

We won't even need to rebuild California, as that will be the issue for their own citizens.
