The environment someone grows up in has a major influence on how a person will turn out into adulthood as we learn from whats around us and from what we see as parent figures

I grew up in Alabama in a very conservative home, I tried to be a straight male, but look where I am now. I have felt gender dysphoria and bi since I was very little.

And the social environment someone grows up in extends even further than the family home and ones parents, it includes things like social norms that are ever changing and pushed upon a populace through the television and other sources of media

I think that social conservatism when taken to the extreme is not great, and this is coming from a social conservative

I have been on other conservative discords before but they just didn't *feel* right ya know? And Tyler is one of my favorite youtubers and I just recently found out he had a discord

Its very conservative, but its very far from the authoritarian conservative that the media portays every conservstive as. Most conservatives float along the conservstive libertarian aspect of the board and thats what this server is

Libertarian rights do exist

Authoritarian minded groups often heavily reject any dissenting vioces, and try everything to silence or remove those voices
