@natpb16 Ah, so your parents fled away from socialism.
> @ThiccSpicyGenderRevealParty yes and my parents are immigrants from the soviet union to Canada. Well my mom is a refugee after Poland closed their boarders in 1981, she was on vacation in Greece. My dad was black listed and fled

My Grandfather fled communist china
well, at least you didn't have to witness the soviet union or live in a post-soviet country. Post soviet countries feel at least 20 years behind central Europe, not to even mention North Amerca
Ye wish my parents fled to canada
Instead they fled to Israel
my mans literally did it by hiding in a huge suitcase

I just wanted to mention something random, but also a bit on topic: so a great soccer player from the socialist era in my country (and from my county 😮) was wanted by Real Madrid of all teams, but they had to ask Ceausescu (our dictator from the '70s to the '90s) for permission. Why would our primary education peasant sell a great player and give him the chance to play for one of the best teams in the world? Just because he was paranoid and wanted to keep all talents home? Yes...
We cannot understand why people believe in it
I miss xbox 360 live chats
So socialism, if you can call it that in Romania's case, literally ruined the opportunity of the greatest soccer player Romania had. Wow.
Apparently my moms love life been extra active that time

Good morning , Sunday morning
Then we thought maybe younger people are so broken that the promises look so good and that is what they see
Yeah, like, socialism has never worked.
yup
never has
They do not see how it never works
The only place it seems to keep going is North Korea.
and never will cause it is a utopian ideology
But that's just their own ideology all together.
and utopian ideologies have a rep for never being possible in real life
