@The DJ that's good i don't care for it here besides some good neighbors, food, family and a good job. Hate the snow, hate the cold, hate the taxes. But upstate to buy a home is dirt cheap i feel for minimum wage here $15 an hour now.

My state is faithfully red. I live in the heart of the South so it'd would take a literal act of God to even turn it purple.

@Osha19 most of the republicans stayed here i feel because there's some good paying jobs here. I make $26 an hour entry level and my rent for a whole house is $900 a month I can get a decent area house for $100-$150k. Gas is about $2.10 here.

@The DJ I remember watching that on tv and getting teary-eyed. I'm addicted to history so knowing how historic that entire election was going to end up being, I was absolutely flabbergasted.

The issue with people escaping NY, NJ, California, ect. is that they will begin to bring their politics with them. "Back in California we did this."

This is what is happening in Wisconsin. Traditionally we are very purple, but I feel Madison and Milwaukee growing and Appleton and Green Bay are now infested with liberals

@The DJ I know many that live near Detroit in Livonia it reminds me of where I live it's all the beautiful rust belt. Hopefully Trump will get more factories back in the rust belt. We thrive on it here.
