ahh yes the good old "aaa lets point at fingers as someone is trying to kill linux instead finding/designing superior alternatives" ..imho those(mentioned (secureboot, hdcp, etc) features are implemented to survive and adapt for non-technical users
try saying to person who is searching to try linux "ohh you need to buy motherboard what does not have secureboot"
"oh you cant watch most of these films due linux" "oh and btw you cant connect to some sites at all due they contain DRM"
for linux its adapt or die specialy now that microsoft is taking their moves into linux with embrace, extend, and extinguish tactics again
I wanna get a Zune
and put a SSD inside
or SD card
I'm honestly contemplating buying one
Biggest mistakes of my life were selling my Sega dream cast and Microsoft zune
same
@Zero Infinity i wish i knew where my dreamcast went, i let a friend borrow it and its has since gone missing
>tfw I got a ps2 slim from my cousin that way <:pepewot:589100642820161551>
remember when watching video on an mp3 player was a big thing?
good times
That's a shitty friend/situation @Billy Yum Yum Two-By-Two
I sold my dream cast for cheap, because the buyer was really poor
i dont blame him for losing it, he was in a fucked up situation and got kicked out of the house he was living in (through no fault of his own) and it got lost in the chaos
Ha. We both lost out to dire straits 🤔
Anyway, hope both of our consoles live on
Yeah but then phones that could play the files came out
Can't camp with the homeless to hide from killer AI drones now.
lmao
My friends gayming laptop works fine on battery but playing gayms on charger it heats up like crazy and starts to thermal throttle. What gives? I told him to undervolt but he says it didn't help much. Cpu is okay temperature but gpu rises above 96 or something
He applies liquid metal too
Laptops got i7 7700hq and a 6GB gtx1060
most laptops will throttle on battery power to begin with
so maybe you're just not noticing it because of that
No its throttling on charger
yes, but it will limit power usage on battery only
so it will heat up less
and thus not thermal throttle
So any ideas?
turn on power saving mode?
it's working as intended
laptops are thermally throttling 9/10 times
they're designed that way
