> Little anecdote from me. I'm a total asshole on youtube with my comments, I've been a asshole for well over 7 years and I've never got some much as a warning from them...I started posting comments about the fraud, banned in a day.
@Nowhere-incoming i think this is actually true. you can spam yt comments with racial slurs, hate, ect but nothing happens

2020-11-08 12:12:55 UTC

So my google account/youtube account is gone now.

2020-11-08 12:13:15 UTC

I'd believe it. I was watching a very innocuous live stream of a protest by like ~1k trump folks and they were like "we just want transparency" etc., and it just "cut out" and was like "unavailable". There was no language or violence or anything.

2020-11-08 12:13:21 UTC

Just because we’re anti government doesn’t mean we’re exactly for big corporations either lol.

2020-11-08 12:13:22 UTC

Even though I was a giant asshole for nearly a decade

2020-11-08 12:13:48 UTC

> Just because we’re anti government doesn’t mean we’re exactly for big corporations either lol.
@Kyrix especially when funded BY the government.

Once a technology becomes either so widely used, that it's a major part of the current day society, **or** that technology can be used to cause serious harm, then it should be regulates. We did the same thing with news/book publishers, automobiles, planes, telephones, internet, and we have proven how damaging to our country the censorship of information on social media can be. Social media qualifies for both the 1st and 2nd reasons to regulate a new technology.

2020-11-08 12:14:37 UTC

No one is every say how we should let vehicles do whatever they want on roads, or how we should deregulate telephones.

2020-11-08 12:15:29 UTC

@Space_Lettuce_OG We don't actually really want regulation, we want them not to have 230 protections. Regulation can be bad because big corps can pay but little guys cant so you lose on competition and cycle repeats

2020-11-08 12:15:51 UTC

Ya, that's the irony of the whole thing. We just want them to allow free speech. But I think it's a stronger argument from the stance of talking about it like it is a regulation.

2020-11-08 12:16:03 UTC

Or not.. which is fine but then no liability protection

2020-11-08 12:16:05 UTC

The censorship and gaslighting is dystopian, we're living in a meme.

2020-11-08 12:17:09 UTC

Yeah it's been building up a while now, but we're aware that's half the battle

2020-11-08 12:17:51 UTC

i don't mean to be like "just do that", but you can just make your own social medias without restrictions

2020-11-08 12:17:52 UTC

Doesn't matter much when they just ban you or "glitch" you out and then say nothing happened.

2020-11-08 12:18:09 UTC

i kinda see it as they made it so they do whatever

2020-11-08 12:18:30 UTC

and if you have the knowledge there's probably nothing stopping you either

2020-11-08 12:18:49 UTC

Yeah that’s not reasonable.

2020-11-08 12:18:59 UTC

They made it but they're getting the benefits of being a platform while acting like a publisher.

2020-11-08 12:19:32 UTC

What's stopping you is google...they'll just remove your website from their searches.

2020-11-08 12:20:11 UTC

"The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly – it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over."

2020-11-08 12:21:21 UTC

Plus if your website is labeled "far right" your host might just pull out.

2020-11-08 12:21:23 UTC

People do make new competitor social media, but Facebook and Twiiter always buy them out. It's virtually impossible to make a social media company that is privately owned and has no shareholders/investors. Because all competitors are publicly traded companies, they get bought out by Big Tech Oligarchs eventually.
So, it isn't technically a monopoly, but it is an oligopoly(multiple companies working together with aligned interested).

Isn't it funny how they still haven't called North carolina yet

2020-11-08 12:22:59 UTC

Fr tho. Its 99 percent reporting

2020-11-08 12:23:15 UTC

Joe Biden didn’t kill himself.

2020-11-08 12:23:32 UTC

i think the 99% percentage things are estimates of how many votes there will be

2020-11-08 12:23:49 UTC

guessing there were more votes than expected

2020-11-08 12:23:51 UTC

Reporting means is how many votes are counted.

2020-11-08 12:24:02 UTC

Give me a plane and I count them for you.

2020-11-08 12:24:10 UTC

Out of how many votes cast.

2020-11-08 12:24:16 UTC

yea but you don't know how many votes you are going to get do you?

2020-11-08 12:24:36 UTC

I’m pretty sure they keep track of the number of ballots they have.

2020-11-08 12:24:53 UTC

Good morning, Sunday morning

2020-11-08 12:25:03 UTC

Top of the mornin' to ya rascal

2020-11-08 12:25:16 UTC

Here's the thing, if at the end of all the lawsuits it isnt enough and biden wins, and then later on there is clear evidence of election fraud, people are gonna riot more than blm and antifa, to the point where there might be a civil war and the country splits up

2020-11-08 12:25:20 UTC

Hello gamers

2020-11-08 12:26:19 UTC

I think you just said the worst case scenario, sir

2020-11-08 12:26:45 UTC

@cloudydread We know..... But it's better than the Democrat party cheating in every election from here on, and pushing the globalist progressive socio-communist agenda onto the U.S. and driving out economy into the ground, and morality policing the country with woke ideology. It sucks, but the Left's civil unrest/war is a better alternative, sadly.

2020-11-08 12:27:03 UTC

Covid did it’s job and now it might end
