Yeah I mean "liberal" isn't bad really, leftist is. We just .. kinda use them interchangeably I guess but being sunshine and roses and open to progressive things is whatever all depends on the approach. we tend to get annoyed when the left uses government to "enforce" cultural ideology

I mean mainly my opinion but I feel like the typical "leftist" approach to things is entirely contradictory right? Take any issue and it's a juxaposition. Gun control - Premise people commit crimes, once you unpack that it's like exactly... people commit crimes hence people need guns to protect themselves. Then it's like "people can't be trusted" -- "Count every vote"
