Mother wasnt paying attention, kid went into lake, as I was playing football with a friend 15 yds away, a fisherman spotted the kid floating. We called police and tried CPR, but he was already turning blue. Was declared dead at the hospital. They think was gone for about 10 mins before we spotted him.

I never really knew the kid, but he gave me a high five an hour before when he retrieved a ball.
