no one can protect themselves as well as they could

2020-11-21 09:44:04 UTC

Let's not say that about mass shootings. šŸ™‚

2020-11-21 09:44:35 UTC

hold on.

2020-11-21 09:44:37 UTC

1 x

2020-11-21 09:44:39 UTC

say what? that I'd rather that then be defenceless against a government?

2020-11-21 09:44:41 UTC

*its kinda concerning youtube is suddently "not secure"*

2020-11-21 09:45:03 UTC

ill send it anyway whatever has to do with red flag

2020-11-21 09:46:00 UTC

"Red flag laws were laws in the United Kingdom and the United States enacted in the late 19th century, requiring drivers of early automobiles to take certain safety precautions, including waving a red flag in front of the vehicle as a warning."

2020-11-21 09:46:08 UTC

waving a red flag in front of the vehicle

2020-11-21 09:46:10 UTC

wtf is that

2020-11-21 09:46:48 UTC

guy walking in front of the horseless carriage with flag to warn, cause back then streets were for pedestrians and not vehicles

2020-11-21 09:47:46 UTC

there was a heavy propaganda push by businesses to kick pedestrians from roads and give them purely to vehicles

2020-11-21 09:47:47 UTC

so where carriages went people thought they should meander in

2020-11-21 09:48:09 UTC

Roads were originally for people to walk, not for cars

2020-11-21 09:48:20 UTC

cars used to be a rare sight on a road

2020-11-21 09:48:26 UTC

ah

2020-11-21 09:48:29 UTC

things change eh

2020-11-21 09:48:45 UTC

now if you're on a road as a pedestrian you could be killed

2020-11-21 09:48:52 UTC

best to stay off the roads

2020-11-21 09:49:04 UTC

now we have to use side-walks, and side walks only span parts of cities. yer not supposed to walk along a road, and illegal internstates.

2020-11-21 09:49:15 UTC

legally, you're isolated geographically without buying a car

2020-11-21 09:49:29 UTC

so the red flags were the old version of modern day school crosswalk guards?

2020-11-21 09:50:35 UTC

In my home town I can't walk from my house to walmart without breaking several laws jaywalking and such

2020-11-21 09:50:59 UTC

i jaywalk, i always look before i cross which is what the people who created the laws never did

2020-11-21 09:51:36 UTC

interstate on/off ramp between me and the walmart, and the 4 lane highway has no crosswalks, nor sidewalks within half a mile

2020-11-21 09:51:57 UTC

world is made to force people to need a car

2020-11-21 09:52:09 UTC

yeah around my house it's hard to find sidewalks at all and even when you do you still have to cross bridges that don't have sidewalks

2020-11-21 09:53:17 UTC

city planners are smoothbrain

2020-11-21 09:53:19 UTC

in my neighborhood you, which is small, you have sidewalks on 1 side of the road but once you leave the neighborhood you're on your own

2020-11-21 09:53:49 UTC

2020-11-21 09:53:59 UTC
