My mother’s cooking is ... lacking. She tends to cut too many corners, but my father’s cooking is amazing

I’m wonderful at cooking myself

My dad use to cook really good but as with age, his sense of taste has gone away so he tends to over do it on the salt.

My dad is really great, but he has this serious aversion to all spiciness

Its funny too cause he use to tell me that you can always add salt later but you can never take it away.

Alot of the big corporate places usually make food thats cheap and you can grab quick while the smaller ones while many times taking longer and being more formal the food is in general higher quality.

My dad taught me like that

I love salt

I like salt but you have to realize that other things will also add salt.

I ran into that problem this morning

My dad tends to forget that.

I made a concoction of tater tots, bacon, cheese, and country sausage gravy

But I didn’t really account for the fact that the bacon would add more saltiness

bro the fried shrimp at epcot japan was prolly the best thing i ever tasted

Her opinion might not be the best to take from though, although if she did like it then it might mean something. It can go both ways on that though i suppose.

Next time I go to Epcot I’m trying their Japanese restaurant

Last time I had their Italian pavilion

It was good, but also, just Italian food

Like I can get good Italian food everywhere
