Understandable, but Trump's policies imply that whoever wants to emigrate to America, must already have the necessary paperworks ready to be a national citizen or you will most likely not get in. Your step grandmother already had a green card prior so she was kinda okay, but once his policies were in place, future immigrants may need to plan more efficient.
