But it's just a bunch of sandniggers that ask if I have experiences with driving a truck
Yaya I can get a GPU now
1070s were $700AUD and 580s were $670 at one point
End my life
so, dumped suse, using fedora now
suse has kernel build that isnt compatible with my motherboard and that'd be a pain to work around
gotta say, fedora's kinda way fucking cooler than it was last i used it
lets hope our buddy @transience is alive
last i used fedora was 12, now on 26, and you know what it just shits on ubuntu now as far as ease of install and use goes
while still just having more powerful tools
wish it shipped with yast though
also fucking arch tier repos
like holy shit fedora has _everything_
yea im pretty cool
also wayland is nice
i'm actually running wayland and it works perfectly and i never thought i'd see the day
I might try Fedora
from what i've seen so far, would recommend
i'm actually in fucking awe how slick it is
I've only got one system to test it on and it's incredibly obscure hardware, so if it can handle it, damn.
unless something turns out to be Horribly Broken i haven't run into yet it's my new "so you wanna dump windows" rec
the Go-To Linux Distro That Doesn't Suck Like Mintâ„¢
it shits on mint
the installer especially is just amazing
if you're a noob you just click install and it does its thing, prompts you for user and pass when you reboot
mint is shit
anything beats mint
or, as you download all the packages, not before like all the others, you can partition your drives and make your users and all
I'm gonna go with the 'absolute noob' install
and it actually works on this jankass gigabyte mobo i wasn't expecting so little to work on
trust me
if you think a gigabyte mobo is janky
you haven't seen SHIT
i dunno if it works on _obscure_, but it does work on "hasn't had firmware updates to fix its bullshit" new
I've got a fucking Chromebox with SeaBIOS to be able to run Linux
i have seen jankier, but not like
I thought gigabyte was one of the better ones
