“Because you can’t lie”<:KEK:726877368601411624>

2020-11-26 23:53:52 UTC

LOL

2020-11-26 23:53:59 UTC

I was able to convince a friend that the things they heard about Trump were not completely so, at least

2020-11-26 23:54:16 UTC

Dang bro, so true.

2020-11-26 23:54:24 UTC

chat is referring to liberals as people that align with the left side of the political spectrum

2020-11-26 23:54:54 UTC

Currently, i presume, as opposed to classically. Because "the left" is ot what it was.

2020-11-26 23:55:03 UTC

*not

2020-11-26 23:55:03 UTC

Not primarily, a liberal is not a far right activist. But many people associate with them.

2020-11-26 23:55:21 UTC

Shit I’ll take another 1000 a year 😂

2020-11-26 23:55:30 UTC

Why the fuck complain about that

2020-11-26 23:55:50 UTC

inflation mainly achilles

2020-11-26 23:55:50 UTC

Don't know

2020-11-26 23:56:06 UTC

Incorrectly associate <:thinking:726878987837636698>

2020-11-26 23:56:29 UTC

Maybe so

2020-11-26 23:56:41 UTC

liberals can be far right, depending on how much government enforcement they want

2020-11-26 23:56:46 UTC

Idk I honestly don’t think 1000 a person is going to effect anything

2020-11-26 23:56:54 UTC

It is so because it is wholly incorrect

2020-11-26 23:57:22 UTC

it also depends on which axis you are measuring, which test your are using, and which semantic definition

2020-11-26 23:57:40 UTC

I would hope so too achilles, but i feel like its just fuel to a raging bushfire sometimes.

2020-11-26 23:58:02 UTC

Put "far right" in quotes because it is so ambiguously defined

2020-11-26 23:58:15 UTC

Yeah true

2020-11-26 23:58:56 UTC

I tend to use left and right as collectivism vs individualism

2020-11-26 23:59:00 UTC

Would you agree that there is a place for the left though?

2020-11-26 23:59:19 UTC

Well, not agree, necessarily. Hold that view, then?

2020-11-26 23:59:23 UTC

but there's more to, just in a general sense

2020-11-26 23:59:43 UTC

As a counterweight to the very possible excesses of thre "right?"

2020-11-27 00:00:17 UTC

Oh dissenting opinion is very important but the world should not be viewed as a playground of academic ideas

2020-11-27 00:00:32 UTC

there's absolutely a use for the left, much of the innovation, entrepreneurship, and voice for the little guy is valuable, but it requires a constant counterbalance or it descends into tyranny, hedonism and suffering

2020-11-27 00:00:55 UTC

a common trope is the left starts a company and the right runs it

2020-11-27 00:00:59 UTC

Only to counteract a token amount of political positioning. Other than that most of their policies can rot in hell

2020-11-27 00:01:02 UTC

I tend to think that the right is "better," broadly s[peaking, but like any human institution is prone to corruption, power grabbing, elitism etc

2020-11-27 00:01:25 UTC

if it has something to fight it stays on its toes more, so to speak.

2020-11-27 00:01:30 UTC

or should

2020-11-27 00:02:09 UTC

things are very good in the world, which is why the left has to look for more and more absurd radical shit to fight for

2020-11-27 00:02:29 UTC

intersting

2020-11-27 00:02:36 UTC

very good how?

2020-11-27 00:02:41 UTC

curious to know

2020-11-27 00:02:47 UTC

We have hope in a higher power, compared to the ebbing flows of overly humanistic doctrine

2020-11-27 00:03:04 UTC

economic progress and relief of suffering on a global scale, the reduction in wars worldwide

2020-11-27 00:03:12 UTC

When I look at L vs R politically, I tend to focus on what they want to permit and allow in society. As of recent its become obvious the Left think they can "cater" safely towards absolutely everyone, whereas the right seem to prefer catering only towards those who they already are. The right seem far more sustainable long term due to the focus implied.
