Chromebooks are trash
That, and they began counting me absent even when we started going back in person, I'm currently at around 200 total absences
That’s fucked
So that's what happened to me
I have a chrome book they gave me but I haven’t used it since I use my MacBook most of the time
All I got to do is check-in on a school website. Virtual meetings don't count for shit
Thankfully the chrome book and MacBook both use usb c<:KEK:726877368601411624>
Jesus Christ
Where do you live?
What state?
North Carolina
Oh? I have a fried that lives there and is now doing all virtual
He’s in 8th grade though
Word of advice - Try not to lose your head
For high school or what lol
Also I have a thing for teachers cutting me slack a lot of the times
Absolutely. I nearly lost mine
Word of Advice: Lose your head. 🙂
I’m not complaining
Ah
It's not funny 😒
Why? Just school work or drama or both
I haven’t been in person yet <:KEK:726877368601411624>
I have zero friends
We started going back, and it's hellish
It wears and breaks you down. I'm a "special" case tho
Since I’m going to my home county instead of my neighboring county like I have all my life before
Oh?
My dad said he'd go down to the school and speak with them
My high school is the only one in the county (not including city district)
And it has 2,200 people
<:Dude:726878886411108474>
Mine probably has 900 or less people
As you grow, you think more. However you're never appreciated for it
A very small school in a very small town
As I grow I think more... but won’t be appreciated for it?
As in like the teachers stop caring or people in general stop caring
My puny brain cannot comprehend
Fun fact, this small town ordered the removal of a Civil war monument, which they moved to a graveyard and didn't even put it in right, it's facing the wrong way
You become more capable, however the same treatment is applied. Chastisement is I got. I see my own father use the same damn kiddy gloves with my cousins, who are a solid decade younger than me
