Right now I’m working on a pirate story where a woman is kidnapped and held at ransom only for the pirate captain to die suddenly at sea, but she’s already had Stockholm set in and has become obsessed with him, so being the psycho she is she violently takes control of the crew while taking on the mantle of the captain before her, and keeping that guys corpse in the captains quarters because she can’t allow him to be thrown overboard
