I've met a few decent liberals, it's just that many of their ideals have been consumed by those of the far-left.

There are good liberals and bad conservatives. I know. And I have liberal friends. But there agenda and the ones that run this bitch are bad.

But if you think about it, the dems have been on the wrong side for almost the entire time. I guess you could argue that originally there was only dems but they opted for racism and slavery while the reps were created. The reps ended it. You can’t argue that the roles switched because a party is a party. It was conservative dems and reps. The reps are now conservatives. But the rep party is a party. They want to conserve a free country without racism and with freedom. The dems now want to make them self’s seem important by being racist to whites and killing our democracy. The racism thing was just an example.

I see where you're coming from, and there is a ton of evidence to back it up, but I do believe that since then and up until recently, the democratic party (while flawed, but what isn't?) was essential to maintain a spread of ideas, and prevent a one-party rule.
