I think it's better where superpowers are not real, so any type of politics should also be only related to that universe and not our universe

I don’t like movies so I don’t care if they are good or not. I watch like 3 movies a year

A movie should not be for or against the brexit or anything like that.

Being derivative can be fine if you bring enough to the table to make it unique and new, Ghost Master is almost entirely derivative of the horror genera, but it brings enough to the table to make it new and interesting. Plus there’s a difference between taking inspiration from Minecraft or Star Wars, and just drawing a nether portal or writing a starwars fan film.
