I’m excited for Christmas

Even if half of my family abandoned me over Covid fears

But hey, my least favorite uncle isn’t coming either, so that’s gonna be nice

Yeah, my family doesn’t really care about Covid.

But all my irritation over that is overshadowed by my glee that I won’t have to deal with my uncle

I’m still mad at him over thanksgiving

Imma go tubing tomorrow

Oh. What happened at Thanksgiving?

He came to our house, spent much of the dinner insulting me

Then at dessert he refused to try my beignets

And told me no one cared about the effort I had put into making them

Geez. I’d be happy, too.
