It’s actually quite simple.

For some reason they’re having kids at a really old age.

Couples take longer to marry these days too

Or it could be that they’re having kids at around the age of like 20 or so and then having more later.

I don’t think it’s the social phenomenon you think it is since it’s a chinese family.

I see it in white families too, like at age 32/33 with my parents

Wait is that your parent’s current age or their age when they had you.

Well it’s the one I stated.

I was born when my dad was 19 and mother was 20.

Hm, my grandma was 20 with my mother's birth

Yeah my dad was a hardworking immigrant and so is the rest of my family.

So I barely had any financial troubles.

Or have that is.

Good to see an absence of slackers

Unfortunately it may or may not have turned their kids into slackers.

Sometimes I wonder whether I would be much more hard working if I did have financial troubles.

As it goes - Strong men create good times, good times create weak men, weak men create hard times, and hard times create strong men

I mean that’s just a saying though.

I probably could’ve been taught some more useful skills at an earlier age.

Those are regrets of the past
