2017-12-19 15:44:51 UTC

When building this PC i bought okay everything and skimped on gpu, with the intention of buying a new one in some time

2017-12-19 15:44:55 UTC

780 might perform slightly better in gaming.

2017-12-19 15:44:57 UTC

It's been like 4 years, though

2017-12-19 15:45:09 UTC

You can get a cheap second-hand one.

2017-12-19 15:45:42 UTC

or a 970 if u want something a bit newer

2017-12-19 15:45:50 UTC

The budget tho :(

2017-12-19 15:46:08 UTC

Well, it's interchangeable. Honestly, it will depend on the game.

2017-12-19 15:46:12 UTC

Or process.

2017-12-19 15:46:29 UTC

Get one of the two. Whichever gives you a better deal.

2017-12-19 15:46:29 UTC

3gb for 25 dollas more than the 1050

2017-12-19 15:46:32 UTC

Used, of course

2017-12-19 15:46:47 UTC

Better TI than regular 1050.

2017-12-19 15:46:57 UTC

For that small amount? Do it.

2017-12-19 15:47:25 UTC

780 3gb Ti for x1.5 the price of 1050

2017-12-19 15:47:37 UTC

No. Just 780.

2017-12-19 15:47:47 UTC

780ti is something else.

2017-12-19 15:48:06 UTC

You can look into that too, if it's cheap, though.

2017-12-19 15:48:15 UTC

It will be the best of all the cards mentioned.

2017-12-19 15:48:35 UTC

Never bought some used GPU though

2017-12-19 15:48:44 UTC

I'm scared of failing caps and voltage regulators :(

2017-12-19 15:49:25 UTC

Open it up. Clear the dust/debris. Clean the thermal paste, replace it, and adjust the thermal pads if necessary. That's it.

2017-12-19 15:49:55 UTC

You're at a budget anyway. Either get a 780 (or greater if you find a good deal), or get a 1050ti.
