seems it was fucked up before

when i looked at the car before buying there wasn't any problem with that

Corollas are known for having fucked opening cables

Look for a replacement hood release cable

tfw no E10 replacement cables

the cable seems stuck btw

pulling it causes the plastic cover also to go out

it really seems the latch is blocked

i should get a replacement cable too and mount it on the plastic properly though

ChrisFix says to use a pry bar and open it from the bottom

another option is to try to beat the hood into submission while pulling the cable

needs two people tho

like push it up and down to move the latch
