The pawn shops round my area usually get Rugar 22's pretty frequently.

2020-12-17 02:53:21 UTC

He is friend with a local coin shop owner

2020-12-17 02:53:33 UTC

Dudes apartment is like fort knox

2020-12-17 02:54:12 UTC

Ah gotcha

2020-12-17 02:56:29 UTC

@hrisckybusiness91 you won’t be disappointed. There’s always deals on .22 rifles around the holidays too because they are a lot of kids first guns. Might find a cheap marlin model 60

2020-12-17 02:56:51 UTC

Although they were just sold off the ruger

2020-12-17 02:57:04 UTC

So who knows if many are available new right now

2020-12-17 02:57:39 UTC

I want to get the younger ones comfortable around firearms, and all I have are things that would take them off their feet so lol

2020-12-17 02:57:49 UTC

Also plug some varmits if need be

2020-12-17 03:00:59 UTC

I first learned shooting squirrels. First gun was a 20 gauge

2020-12-17 03:03:28 UTC

First big boy gun I shot was an AR

2020-12-17 03:03:45 UTC

Now I have my 12 gauge and my .45 because i'm poor lol

2020-12-17 03:04:21 UTC

I've almost got my girl convinced to let me go buy a Mosin from somebody for 450 with stripper clips and a bayonet

2020-12-17 03:05:41 UTC

Better be a good mosin for that much. Although I know they’ve gone up

2020-12-17 03:06:21 UTC

You could have ruger or Thompson center in 308 with a scope brand new for that much

2020-12-17 03:06:38 UTC

Guns that have 1 moa

2020-12-17 03:06:46 UTC

Or a savage

2020-12-17 03:07:33 UTC

I think it's just that Mosin's have become pretty popular in recent times, so I think it's just a markup

2020-12-17 03:07:42 UTC

Of course I remember when you could buy a mosin for 75 bucks.

2020-12-17 03:07:54 UTC

Still in the cosmoline.

2020-12-17 03:08:19 UTC

2020-12-17 03:08:44 UTC

It was 450 with all the fixings too, not just the ones I mentioned but like everything they had for it

2020-12-17 03:09:32 UTC

Ammo? Ammo is the most expensive right now.

2020-12-17 03:10:18 UTC

But I will be honest, I would give 250 and no more

2020-12-17 03:10:21 UTC

If I remember the add correctly yeah it came with the old paper wrapped cases

2020-12-17 03:10:35 UTC

He was offering north of 100 rounds included

2020-12-17 03:11:11 UTC

I want to do private sale since in my state I don't have to register it

2020-12-17 03:14:21 UTC

Depends what you want to do with it too. And where and when it was made. If you get it check out AK operators union. He posted some stuff about how to cheaply accurize those rifles with Russian and Finnish techniques.

2020-12-17 03:14:58 UTC

I'll check it out

2020-12-17 03:42:56 UTC

Some day I want to build a primitive hunters cabin in the woods to go escape from society

2020-12-17 03:43:14 UTC

No electricity

2020-12-17 03:43:19 UTC

Just fire

2020-12-17 03:47:05 UTC

I'd have some electricity, because alot of expression of moods and stuff comes from music

2020-12-17 03:47:37 UTC

Solar packs for charging phones and portable JBL speakers

2020-12-17 03:49:04 UTC

But how will I chill my beer to enjoy my fires with lol

2020-12-17 03:50:42 UTC

Go in the winter

2020-12-17 03:50:53 UTC

Oh wait your in the south

2020-12-17 03:51:18 UTC

Well an ice chest or mini freezer attached to a solar generator

2020-12-17 03:53:01 UTC

It’s called a creek haha

2020-12-17 04:01:46 UTC

2020-12-21 15:26:51 UTC

Today’s outdoors tip. For a great fire starter, coat some cotton balls in petroleum jelly. You can store them in a ziploc bag, an altoids tin, whatever. They light easily and burn for a couple minutes. If using a ferro rod just pull the cotton ball apart to expose the dry cotton inside, will light first strike
