I'd suggest maybe space marines

Their units are very good

But if you continue to play guard, you can actually put your units in most of the buildings and they get a weapon buff+defense

if you want to win DoW forever though, do orks, get 3 squads of sluggas, set to ranged attack, stand ground stance, get pile o guns, upgrade dakka and flamers, kill everything in 5 seconds

sluggas do same damage to everything: infantry, commanders, vehicles, buildings
