I used to do bow hunting with an old ass recurve

I bought a basic 30 pound draw recurve. But this one breaks down so you can put it in a backpack

15 aluminum 30" arrows, and 10 wood 28" arrows for the wife to use to practice

I'm in the IT field, I'm pondering how to make a secure auditable voting machine. For starters I'd say any changes require 2 different admin level people with biometrics. And any changes are logged. Onsite server in a separate room with a separate closed LAN which is under video surveillance. The physical connection portion of the voting terminal is both difficult to access as it is locked and that back end of it is easily visible by cameras and workers.

Paper ballots, inked finger, in person voting with ID only

Yeah put it on the same level as Canada

And every other country with stringent voter ID

Industrial grade buttons that are designed to work even under horrid factory environments. No finicky touch screen crap

I know paper ballots in person with voter ID is more secure. But if we ever want to colonize other star systems, we can't wait an entire year for a ship carrying ballots to arrive. (Although probably need an actual God Emperor with no elections if we were to get to that point)

Maybe I'm overthinking this and the machine just prints out your filled in ballot, doesn't record shit, and is signed with your thumbprint. No erroneous bubbles that get disqualified. Able to physically see the results of your voting and confirm it

I can understand why allow only landowners to vote, but that is a bit too extreme. I'd rather see that everyone who is a net-payer in taxes get a vote. Beggers and takers don't deserve to vote to get more gibs.

It's in the landowners' best interest to vote for a good president because, if they don't, the nation will suffer, the economy will suffer and their land will suffer. And they'll lose money
