fine, I guess I'll play VR, put it on, I got power lights but no picture. Dashboard says displayport is not connected, not uncommon, have had to unplug and replug the USB/Displayport repeatedly to get it to work. Only this time the issue is more apparent, the displayport cable is almost chewed in half

a day or two ago my computer didn't have internet, the ethernet cord was chewed, and I found out he also got my recharging stand for my headset for work, not so simple as the entire stand will need to be replaced or respliced. Less than a week ago it was the HDMI cable for my second monitor

He comes by at least once a week to pick up cat corpses & check traps

the big issue is the Oculus Rift cable, that shit is like $80 to replace, which I've already replaced once

But if you want to keep you cat alive. I suggest taking canned air with bitturgent in it & turning it upside down & spraying your cables with it

Or order dry hydrangeas & mixing into a paste. Though that will kill your cat while the canned air won't.

It's only one cat though, not his brother, we're thinking maybe he's got a tooth ache

So it seems like any ol micro usb cable will work for my headset, so I'm going to chill out and conquer Europe

@SilverWolf get some canned air, turn it upside down, and spray your cables. That will stop it from chewing those cables. (Not lethal, just make it very nasty to chew)
