3) US funding to Israel is almost exclusively military. Don’t be naive, Israel is a front of the cold war as is afghanistan who the soviets occupied before us. Since Israel’s founding in 1948 it has been involved in 8 large scale wars, not including constant terror. In each of these Israel is surrounded by attackers and outnumbered at huge odds, facing multiple larger countries. Do some research and learn about the six day war, suez crisis, yom kippur war, ect. In these wars israel faces larger Syrian, Egyptian, Jordanian forces all at once. Guess who provides military funding for those countries? Yeah that’s right- Russia. It is conceivable to think the US has an obligation to that region when it is an ally and has been under attack every single decade since its founding
