Once you're an adult yourself, you're no longer subject to your parents. But even supposing you're not an adult yet, if either or both parents are still in that fallen state, if their child can overcome and break the cycle and lead by example it could help them overcome as well without it breaking that chain of command.

@Dark Rose But doesn't JLP tell many of his audience members (who are adults) to go back to their fathers? What's the point of going back as an adult if the chain of command is no longer needed?
