of why people would use lies

2020-04-26 19:55:37 UTC

believe

2020-04-26 19:55:47 UTC

Also keep in mind fellas.. these people believe in the lie.. to them it's true.

2020-04-26 19:56:17 UTC

Herd mentality is kinda unique.

2020-04-26 19:56:23 UTC

You sure

2020-04-26 19:56:26 UTC

Blessed is he in the name of charity and good will, sheperds the weak through the valley of darkness for he truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost sheep

*Somewhere in Ezekiel 25:17

So something can be true to one person, but not true to another person @Robert? Well that's how truth can be relative

2020-04-26 19:57:50 UTC

That is silly, imo.

2020-04-26 19:57:55 UTC

2+2 = 5 to me

2020-04-26 19:57:58 UTC

so thats a truth

2020-04-26 19:57:58 UTC

?

2020-04-26 19:57:59 UTC

pft

2020-04-26 19:58:07 UTC

Okay, interesting. I wouldn't call that truth -- personally I'd call that subjective reality/bias..

2020-04-26 19:58:09 UTC

*AND I WILL STRIKE DOWN UPON THEE WITH GREAT VENEGANCE AND FURRRRRIOUS ANGER*

*THOSE WHO ATTEMPT TO POISON AND DESTROY MAH BROTHERS*

2020-04-26 19:58:16 UTC

its a judgement / opinion

2020-04-26 19:58:18 UTC

not a truth

2020-04-26 19:58:34 UTC

AND YOU WILL KNOW MY NAME IS THE LORD WHEN I LAY MY VENGANCE UPON THEE

2020-04-26 19:58:47 UTC

Pulp Fiction, we get it

2020-04-26 19:58:48 UTC

shhhh

2020-04-26 19:58:56 UTC

;p

2020-04-26 19:59:53 UTC

It was their fault bringing up "herds"

2020-04-26 20:00:52 UTC

Pulp fiction is so good though

2020-04-26 20:00:53 UTC

Yeah, truth is separate from our subjective reality.

2020-04-26 20:00:57 UTC
2020-04-26 20:01:13 UTC

At least, that's if you ask me.

2020-04-26 20:01:18 UTC

Haha--

2020-04-26 20:01:49 UTC

Yeah so I don't really think anything CAN be "true" because each truth is filtered through the lense of our own subjective reality

2020-04-26 20:02:03 UTC

Hmm

2020-04-26 20:02:12 UTC

Hmm..

2020-04-26 20:02:20 UTC

Well

2020-04-26 20:02:26 UTC

What makes a lie a lie then

2020-04-26 20:02:31 UTC

Well

2020-04-26 20:02:33 UTC

Hmm..

2020-04-26 20:02:34 UTC

That's hard

2020-04-26 20:03:15 UTC

Even lies carry "truth" to them

Shocking I know but its there 50% of the time

2020-04-26 20:03:32 UTC

LeL

2020-04-26 20:03:45 UTC

If someone is going to present something as true, it should have sufficient evidence which can be used to support the truth to others. Where as lies are truths fronted without evidence

2020-04-26 20:04:54 UTC

So is truth based on a global interpretation rather than an individual one?

2020-04-26 20:05:41 UTC

Global interpretation shouldn't really effect individuals turths, rather each individual should create there own truths based on what evidence they find

2020-04-26 20:05:47 UTC

Well

2020-04-26 20:06:02 UTC

Idk
